Oleksiy Bykov is a founding partner at Bykov Law. Oleksiy obtained his Honours Bachelor degree from York University and his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to founding Bykov Law, Oleksiy worked at the Crown Attorney’s Office, where he was involved in the prosecution of numerous criminal cases, including major crimes and homicides. Since then, Oleksiy has expanded his practice to the family law area.
Oleksiy brings a unique perspective to the firm. His passion to strive for success, unparalleled knowledge of the law, and advocacy skills provide his clients with a cutting-edge advantage in the courtroom. At the heart of Oleksiy’s approach is his ability to fight fearlessly for his clients’ rights. Oleksiy has successfully litigated family and criminal matters in front of the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Appeal. He is committed to resolving matters efficiently and cost effectively and, if possible, without having to resort to litigation. Although the goal of all cases is a settlement, Oleksiy is a trial lawyer. He is thorough and persuasive in court when litigation is required. Oleksiy has been counsel of record on some of the longest and most complex cases and trials in the province.
In his free time, Oleksiy enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis on a competitive level.
